I have a problem with application fee.<br /><br />First I can&#039;t buy RMB in my country, and second I can not send money order cheque since all money transfers between countries are done over bank accounts.<br /><br />So every time I sent an e-mail or fax to Tsingha Foreign student office I got not response.<br />How am I supposed to send application fee and my application if I can not pay it?<br /><br />Does anyone know how I could solve that problem?<br />If there is anybody currently at Tsinghua is there any possibility that you could ask that question for me at Foreign student office?<br /><br /> :o<br /><br />Basically I would need, IBAN and SWIFT, bank account number of Tsinghua university.<br />

Hi Dragana,<br /><br />Don&#039;t worry about the application fee. Technically, you don&#039;t need to pay it until you actually check-in at Tsinghua. So far now, you can relax and just send in your application.<br /><br />I&#039;m also currently studying at Tsinghua, so if you have any further questions, feel free to ask!<br /><br />Hope that helps!<br />Ana

Ana is right. You pay your application fee along with tuition fee when you arrive at Tsinghua and register for your course.<br /><br />Feel free to ask us any questions, as I live just above the Foreign Student Affairs office.

Oh great.<br /><br />I&#039;ve solved my problem at the end, somehow. <br />But it was very difficult, I really had problems at every step of the way.<br />It&#039;s like some &quot;higher power&quot; was testing me do I want it that much.<br /><br />Now I have the question, how long would I have to wait for an answer and do they ever turn down somebody?

I asked the admissions people that question for some people on this board.&nbsp; From what they told me, everyone that applies is admitted.&nbsp; Hope that answers your question!

sofia,<br />I used to live on the same floor as the foreign students affairs office. &nbsp; I forget the&nbsp; room number now, but I do remember it got really cold there during the winter months.&nbsp; Cold enough that towards the end, only I and another person was left on that floor! The floor was like ice...&nbsp; It was definitely much nicer after I moved to the 3rd floor.&nbsp; Big difference when the floor is heated by the room downstairs. <br /><br />Sunny.
