Walking down a nicely renovated hutong lined with cozy and ambient cafe's we stopped at this plain looking little shop. A simple little dessert shop with modest decorations and furnishings, at first unappealing to the eye, until you walk nearer to the little glass dessert case. Within the little glass dessert case there is lined side by side different colored little jello looking edibles in bowls.

This little dessert shop specializes in yogurt type desserts. The texture of some of the desserts feel almost as if they were jello, some were very much yogurt and to our delight we also found that they made almond jello desserts as well. Our favorite desserts were the almond jello dessert, the melon flavored yogurt dessert, and the double skinned yogurt dessert (双皮奶酪).

Next time you're in the area, we very much recommend if you have the tummy room to give these little traditional Chinese desserts a try. Yummy!
