Tang Palace Restaurant

Please bear with me that I have not tried any other dim sum place before, however I heard from my friends who have been here 2+ years and 1+ year respectively that they both feel this place has the best dim sum in Beijing. Next I will tell you some of their thoughts as well as my own.

我虽然没有在别的地方吃过点心，但是我有许多朋友在北京住了两年多和一年多，他们都觉得这家店是最好的。下面我跟你说说我们为什么这么喜欢这家店。


- Dim sum is ordered from the Dim Sum menu, unfortunately there are no push carts. The plus side is that they DO have bilingual (English/Chinese) menu's for those who are Chinese challenged.
点心是从菜单点的。这里没有推车。好处是他们有特别的中英文菜单你可以要求。

- The quality of the foods: Superb, nearly flawless. This place you can tell has really high quality dim sum. The dishes are intricately made, no coarseness, no roughness. The food embodies all key elements of good Chinese food: flavor, scent, and appearance.
食物的质量：特别好，点心又精致又好吃。他们的点心包含着色香味。

- The atmosphere: Though lacking in push carts with Cantonese ladies hollaring out names of dishes, this place has all the rest of the bustling, crowdedness, and more that embodies that of a real Dim Sum restaurant. When you are in here, you feel like you are in a real Cantonese Dim Sum place.
气氛：虽然这家餐厅没有广东点心餐厅的推车和呼唤，但是还是具有浓浓的气氛和热闹感觉。在这里能够让你感到真正的广东点心风味。

- Bonuses: 别的特点：

Great tea! The teas are very good and most of the time, unless you have a big bladder to fill, you get to take the remainder home with you! In addition they are reasonably priced. About 15 kuai for a canister of good tea that you can take home afterwards.
好茶！茶的价钱很实际也很好喝。剩下的茶可以带回家平常。一小灌茶15元。

Great price! Compared to other places this place is very reasonably priced for the high quality dim sum you order. To fill a 10 person group, each of us ended up spending about 60 yuan per person.
价钱合算！跟别的点心餐厅比这里高质量的点心不算贵。我们团理十个人每人花费了差不多六十元也吃了很饱。

Great location! Get off the subway stop at Chong Wen Men, you will immediately see the Hotel Novotel Xin Qiao Fan Dian, go inside, go to the 3rd floor and you're there. It is so easy to get to by subway and so unbelievable close to it too.
地点特别方便！在崇文门下地铁一出去就看到了新侨饭店。进去到第三城楼就到了。坐地铁特别容易和方便到达。

Great service! As you should know by now or will soon discover, service is definitely a bonus in China and not a part of a normal dining experience. Albeit you do pay a gratuity fee included with your bill, the exceptional service at this restaurant will still leave you feeling like you had a good dining experience.
特别好的服务！这里的服务有点类似西方服务水平，当然这里回收你服务费，但是这里的服务大部分会让你留下好的印象。
