Lush

Well, it\'s almost food from home I suppose, food that tastes like what it would taste like back home. Lush is now my favorite place for a good bite of home, with the American style breakfasts, salads and coffees. The atmosphere is pretty cozy, the servers can all speak enough english to take your order, Lush offers menus in English and Chinese, and the food is pretty authentic tasting. My favorites so far are the Homestyle (mmm... home) breakfast with eggs scrambled, bacon, pancakes, with salad and the Pita.

Lush is also a good place to pick up your next issue of TimeOut or That\'s Beijing magazines.

Unfortunately, unless you\'re at Lush during breakfast hours, any other time be expected to exit Lush smelling like you rolled in a pack of cigarette ashes. Time to wash your hair, your clothes and everything else. :p
