Checking out of Zijing Dormitory is a pretty straight-forward process. 

Pack up your things. Make sure you have the deposit slip that was given to you when you paid your deposit upon opening of your room. When you are done packing, you can move all your belongings to the lobby by the reception desk. Let them know that you are closing your room. The reception desk can watch your stuff for you while you move more stuff downstairs and while you're checking out. The reception desk will then send a member of the cleaning staff to inspect your room for missing items and/or damages.

When they are done. They will inform you to head to Building 19 to close your room. Bring your keys, deposit slip,  student ID and passport with you for check out purposes. They will do the necessary calculations and refund you any money you have left over.

Go back to the lobby of your building and pick up your things, and say your farewells to Zijing... :)
